Erin U. Starkey, LCSW, is a sought-after speaker, coach and licensed therapist. She worked as a wellness and mental health leader in corporate, non-profit, private, and academic settings for over 15 years.
Erin is passionate about helping successful professionals, especially fitness-focused women of color, thrive through having a positive relationship with their body and food. As a Black, mixed-race clinician she is driven daily, in all that she does, by the legacy of those that came before her. She holds a deep commitment to making the world better for current and future generations through her work and volunteer efforts.
Erin earned her Bachelors in American Cultural Studies from Western Washington University and a Master of Social Work, summa cum laude, from University of Illinois at Chicago. She has additional certifications and training in Sport Social Work, Intuitive Eating, Eating Disorders, and Well-Being Coaching.
Erin has conducted countless trainings and workshops for companies, professional organizations, private and public universities, and popular media outlets. She shares mind, body, food tips through her weekly newsletter and has a growing social media presence on LinkedIn and Instagram. Erin has roots in Chicago and the Pacific Northwest, where she currently lives with her fiancé.
